While farmers bring the food to our tables, he other ones are the backbone of our town.

Mother and Daughter

Franklin, Maine, is one of the last places producing the most delicious blueberries.. Most of the fields are harvest by tractors, but the rocky areas need real labor. This mother and daughter,  an art teacher and an international law student, have been coming to harvest this superfood for our tables, year after year.

Artists Statement

My art is about showing beauty as I feel it when I’m creating. I hope to capture the best part of myself in my work. Sometimes, this happens when a powerful emotion breaks through the routine of everyday life—an emotion so strong it pushes away laziness, boredom, and fear of failing. In those moments, I don’t worry about being judged, and time seems to stop. If I can bring that feeling to my canvas, the painting no longer belongs just to me. I
