My mixed media sculptures are a reflection of my fascination with the interplay between different materials and textures. I’m inspired by the natural world, particularly the organic forms found in nature. These forms often serve as the starting point for my creative process. The process of creating a mixed media sculpture is a journey of discovery. I often start with a basic form, then layer on different materials, such as wood, metal, and fabric, to build upon and transform it. This layering process allows me to explore the unique qualities of each material. Each sculpture tells a story, reflecting my personal experiences and observations. I’m drawn to the idea of creating something that is both beautiful and meaningful. The final piece is a culmination of many small decisions, each contributing to the overall narrative of the artwork.
